Dr. Broughton was initially trained in allopathic medicine, later receiving training in naturopathic medicine. He employs the best of traditional and modern diagnostics methods in order to customize a specific plan for each individual. Dr. Broughton is a consultant, not a primary care practitioner. With over twenty years combined experience in both conventional and naturopathic medicine and healthcare, he has an intimate understanding of the varying approaches to healthcare. His past experience as a paramedic, as a physician assistant in family practice, orthopedic surgery, and a naturopathic private practice, affords him the ability to provide a unique insight toward an integrative approach to healthcare for physicians and lay-people alike. His education includes Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic training, a Bachelor of Science as a Physician Associate, completion of a 2-year Orthopedic Surgery PA Residency Training Program, PhD in Health and Human Services and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine.
